Already Activated game key

Just got my GPU in today, did everything to redeem the Stalker 2 promotion for a Deluxe Edition of Stalker 2. An hourish or two later I get an email with a key. Go to steam.. already activated.

Guess some MSI customer support either forgot to copy and paste my key that they used for another customer before, or someone got this key before way back and activated it.

I do hope MSI actually give me a working key. As the process to get it was annoying.

Has anyone had a similar situation and did MSI fix the issue with a new key?

Already done so, just waiting for a response, would be quicker if I could actually talk to someone, but I think what has happened is one of two possibles.

1. The agent that sent me the code, forgot to copy and paste my code but instead pasted the previous one he had done to me.
2. Someone took the key among the staff for themselves or to sell.

Either way it is a bit disappointing that MSI gave me a used key.

@Nichrome Happen to me as well raised a ticket the codes seem not to work all of them are invalid and have no idea who is to blame Steam, Stalker 2 people, MSI

They apparently ran out, their solution to send me a regular key for the game and pre-order bonus which they labelled "Digital Deluxe pre-order bonus" which it wasn't. So they couldn't even be decent enough to give me the Digital Deluxe version. I am literally done with MSI now.
 
Bit of a shame really. Different story if they run out of keys, and different when you're given an invalid key :(
T&C does state the following.

Get ready to enter the zone with msi's STALKER 2-themed products

Buy STALKER 2-themed products and get game code as a bonus

EVENT IS VALID ONLY WHILE SUPPLIES OF REDEMPTION ITEMS LAST. PARTICIPANTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO OBTAIN A REDEMPTION ITEM AFTER ALL COUPON CODES HAVE BEEN DISTRIBUTED.
 
The problem is when I registered for the key it shown a lot of keys available, I believe they said they ran out for the above excuse could be used. After my key was given, wrong edition, the site still said there was keys available. MSI simply messed up.
 
Human errors happen. Reach out to them about it.
 
I got like 6 codes and steam says all are invalid. Im trying to contact support, lets see what happens...
