Like the look of my new laptop, too bad the audio is all screwed up and crackles the whole time brand new. Can't even contact MSI. They say you have to go to the registration site to get to the support which is retarded then theres zero customer service buttons on the site they say to go to for customer service... click ask for support and it just says loading data then shows my name and no clickable buttons or anything helpful in anyway. Super fucking helpful website. aaand i cant even post this unless i type a bunch of words.. Seriously MSI? Seriously MSI? Seriously MSI? Seriously MSI? Seriously MSI? Seriously MSI? Seriously I had this issue as well.  You have to update Realtek driver and restart your system.  Then update your Nahimic 2 driver and do another restart.  This will solve your audio issues.  Works beautifully once this is done.  You can also change your audio settings from Stereo to Quad, 5.1 surround or 7.1 surround.  It is totally up to you.  Don't lose faith just yet...MSI has created masterpieces...it just needs some tender loving care on our end.

Cheers

When you go to the Start menu and scroll down to Nahimic 2, right click- go to > More > Run As Administrator. Make sure it's turned on.

The latest Nahemic as of January 2017 is 2.3.14 which you can download here with their bundle including Realtek: http://bit.ly/2jr47qO

Though what I usually do is install the latest realtek (not in the bundle) and then install Nahemic over that.

I just purchased my first msi laptop a few days ago. Im not sure if its great or not ( I figured most gamers would use some nice headsets anyway) but I just came from an asus republic of gamers gv75vw and I can tell you this MSI gs63vw has way better sound than my republic of gamers. my rog even had a small subwoofer under the bottom and I really had a hard time hearing on it without headphones. so far this one really seems much better.
