Don't get your hopes up for a quick turn around. Got my RMA# on Nov 8. Shipped it to MSI Nov 9. Received on Nov 16. Showed it was fully shipped out on Nov 22. Contacted MSI on Nov 30 because I had not gotten the tracking number that they were suppose to send me and had not seen the package. Got an e-mail with tracking # for Fedex. Fedex didn't get the package until after the 4 day weekend on Nov 27. 5 extra days since it was fully shipped by MSI. Tracking showed it would arrive today Dec 1. Not blaming MSI for this but it did not come today and now tracking says December 4th. So those 5 days it sat instead of being shipped and now 3 more days due to Fedex for what the hell ever reason mean that almost 1 month from the time I shipped it out I might get it back. This is not how customer service should work. From Msi or Fedex. I'm just needing to vent, but this is bullshit. I took a chance on MSI, Now the one thing I bought from MSI I got burned on. Probably gonna stick to Asus from now on! Right now my $3600 dollar build has been an expensive web browser for damn near a month.

At a guess, I'm going your American or India due to crapp RMA time.
It is a local Problem not a Global one so bitching in here is pointless.
But they have a USA Twitter you can go wild on

In Australia, it is less than a week so no complaints from Down Under

Can't say that I've experienced the same issues. My turn around time has generally been around 3 weeks. However, I did also have issues getting my tracking number. I think I got my tracking number a day or two before it even arrived. And living in the middle of PA (pretty rural) probably doesn't help things.

For what it's worth, MSI's RMA service is pretty crappy. But if I'm perfectly honest about it, Gigabyte/Asus/AsRock all have similar issues anymore. none of the big manufacturers seem to have good service anymore. Asus did for a while, but it's gone down hill over the past decade or so......
Even EVGA used to have great service, and still probably have better customer service than the above, but their exit from the GPU market, and their limited products anymore, really spell the end for that company overall.

Actually if you read the reviews on google for my country it is global!. The repair service (PCS Services NL) takes weeks and the charge you for things that where not the issue. If i ever need repairs for my laptop i just sell it and take my loss, there is no way those people will touch my notebook.

I even saw a review from someone who bought a €3000+ laptop from msi and needed to send it in for repairs, the repair service asked alot of money for the repairs they had to do. So where is your warranty then ?

My notebook has a flaky usb port, when i heavy use it i can get a bsod. I avoid that port as much as possible for data transfer (only use it for my mouse now). But no way those guys gonna touch my notebook.

The damage was caused by the msi repair service
Well, that's where experience comes in and says to take photos of the device or whatever product you are sending in for RMA. Otherwise you've no evidence.
Funnily enough, I went to an optician years ago. Was not looking for new glasses despite family trying to convince me. I constantly refused as my current glasses were perfectly fine. One of the employees in the meantime took my current glasses to replace those nose pads. She returned to me with a massive scratch across the entire lens. I immediately kicked off, and she tried to say it was there already. Well lady, at the same time I was telling my family and your colleague that I don't need new glasses as current ones are fine. Her boss came around and told her off, then she put on order new lens for me to replace it. Also the deep scratch was from the inside, so I've no f'ing clue how would I do that myself as I wouldn't use any machinery without glasses. No evidence, but I had witnesses. If I'd have the scratch on my glasses, I'd be telling her colleague I really need new glasses due to the scratch. ANYWAY...

I never had any issues with MSI RMA in the UK. But YMMV. It all unfortunately depend who will be the person reviewing the product sent for RMA, and who will be repairing it. Then if they have a bad day, your odds are it'll be refused or at least you will have hard time fighting for your rights. They're all humans after all.
