You are luckier then me, my x470 gaming pro carbon motherboard still have no 1.2.0.7 or 1.2.0.6 biosHi, I am also waiting for the B350 bios update . There was a recently bios release for the B350 tomahawk arctic but it says nothingt abot the 5000 series cpu suport.
This BIOS fixes the following problem of the previous version:
- Update to AGESA ComboAm4v2PI 1.2.0.7.
- Improve the intermittent performance stuttering issue.
- Change the default setting of Secure Boot.
Now I´m stuck with this click beta version , can´t even downgrade it to the previous version.
Does anybody have some info on when will we get a 5000 series cpu suport bios update?
That Beta BIOS supports AMD 5000 series CPU.There was a recently bios release for the B350 tomahawk arctic but it says nothingt abot the 5000 series cpu suport.

Yes, Thanks, allready upgrade to the 5700x, great Performance improvement, only issue I have is that the back usb 3.1 ports are not working, seem to have Power but It doesn't matter what i plug in Windows and bios doesn't seem to recognise it. Back usb 2.0 and Front 3.1 work just fineThat Beta BIOS supports AMD 5000 series CPU.
If you check the CPU compatibility list and you can see it says 5000 series are supported on the latest Beta BIOS.

Personally I think you are better of with the 5800X over the 5800X3D
Pretty much I got my 5900X for less than the 5800X3D I was looking at getting the 5800X3D but at that price was a no brainer to grab a 5900X and have same or better performance in gaming Prices are Local for me in AustraliaThx. Thanks. But it seems too hot to me, maybe I will look for 8 core CPU.Yep is in me sig but I use a Bequiet Dark Rock TF as I prefer Top Flow even if trey are a tad more expensive
But The Dark Rock 4 Pro is also very good as well as the Noctua D15
Temps get to a max of 80c under a full load using Aida64 stress test or a 10 minute Cinebench run
I am using a Negative offset of -20 all cores.
