Hello all. I have an MSI GT76 Titan with a 200 watt 2080. It's almost 2 years old now and am looking at upgrading.
Is there info on the new RTX 3000 series laptops with a 200-watt TDP or higher? Also on AMD GPU's. Any word on higher tier RX 6000 GPUs?

Need to consider the compatibility and the thermal ability.
A new series graphics cards cam provide better performance but tend to produce more heat.
You should check with the official msi support directly.

So far everything I'm seeing as far as the newest GPUs is not terribly enticing. I may just keep a Gaming laptop longer than 2 years ever.

I saw discussions on buying 'thick highend laptops' as opposed to 'thin partially highend laptops' it was established that the thicker laptop the more chance of decent size fans in the laptop. The current GT titan series has 4 fans as opposed to the other models which only have 2 fans, also the new laptops only have a 280watt power supplies as opposed to the GT series having 2 x 230watt power supplies. I had only a month to go when the RTX 3080 series came out but the GT series at this point in time was a better offering with a LGA1200 Intel i9 chip socket up-gradable in the future. I am not to sure if the RTX 2080 super chip is able to be upgraded as it might be soldered in.

From what I know the GPU on GT76 Titan DT laptops is soldered in.
