Are the RGB controllers that comes with MSI cases compatible with other motherboards?

I like the MPG series cases. However, it's hard to find a DDR5 MSI motherboard in my local stores.

If I get a motherboard from another company, would the RGB controller that comes with the case be compatible?

with the controller, you can switch between hardware and software(MSI Center\Mystic Light) control.
as its connected through ARGB header, I think it's compatible with motherboards with argb headers.
not sure if it's compatible with aura sync or rgb fusion though
