Hi, I have a recently purchased a MSI B360M Gaming Plus motherboard. Checking the bios settings I noticed the BIOS system info says I have a H310M Pro-Vhl motherboard.
Do any of you know what this means? Do I have the wrong bios installed?

thanks for the reply.
BIOS system settings:
BIOS version: E7B27IMS.170
MB: H310M PRO-VHL (MS-7B27)
Product Name: MS-7B27 1.0

Motherboard installed in PC is B360M Gaming Plus
above PCI-EI slot: B360M GAMING PLUS
BELOW PCI-EI slot: MS-7B19 VER1.1
S/N 601-7B19-020B1903002389

Definitely the wrong BIOS installed. Bought new motherboard from supplier, not part of OEM system or pre-build. www.evetech.co.za.
Physical appearance is as it should be, correct box etc.

Some features not working, eg. only 4 sata ports in bios working, mobo has 6. LAN port not working,

I'm guessing this is a second-hand board? Maybe the last owner flashed to a wrong version of BIOS?

What ever came of this?

Just had my mother in laws pc over to reload it for her. She also has a B360M Gaming Plus but bios E7B19IMS.160 (3/25/19) off to the right it does show it as MB: B360M Gaming Plus but I couldn't get the flash utility to see a single bios file on a usb drive from the MSI support site for this board. It would see the drive but wouldn't list any bios file to select for flashing. Her board came new from Newegg.

It would've been better to create a new thread for this instead of replying to this probably somewhat unrelated one, but here goes. This most likely happens because your existing BIOS doesn't fully match the BIOS update's filename. M-FLASH will not see an update file with a non-matching filename. Everything before the dot, and the first character after, have to match with your installed BIOS. Please check your BIOS screen on the top right for the full name of your current BIOS version and post it.
