Hi,
I have B450 tomahawk (old one) with R5 3600 and I am about to upgrade to 5800X3D in a couple of days.
I have newest available bios ending with I letter (forgot full name). I was checking bios settings and didn't see any option to turn on Kombo Strike.
I wonder if I will have any problems while using 5800X3D and is there any way to enable Kombo Strike? Maybe I need the correct CPU first?
My BIOS interface is the old one, coloured in full gray. At first it was the newest, red one, but I believe with newer processor release, motherboard internal storage didn't have enough space to fit new CPU update and new interface at the same time, so it was reverted back to the barebones, gray one.
Thank you.
Update:
Issue solved.
I can confirm that B450 Tomahawk (Non-max) with newest BIOS ( 7C02v1I ) Kombo Strike is available through the BIOS and is working fine.
Using KS-3 and Hyper212 (BE) I am topping out at 76 °C after ~20min of game time. Seems pretty good to me.
