Do you enable XMP profile on RAM?Hello,
I have updated the BIOS using the MSI Dragon Center (now I have MSI Center). After the update, the games started crashing, freezing. Sometimes the whole PC shuts down.
Could anyone suggest any solutions to this problem?
Thank you!
New bios being released check here https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?threads/msi-x570-b550-beta-bios-update-bug-status.348919/Actually, what I did was only resetting the CMOS. It helped. And yes, I'm using XMP profile.
I'm scared to upgrade to this 1.2.0.6c. Version 1.2.0.6b is fine here. I had no more problems with my system. Super stable.New bios being released check here https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?threads/msi-x570-b550-beta-bios-update-bug-status.348919/
From time to time to see if any updates
May be best to roll back to AGESA 1.2.0.2 for your board till BIOS is fully fixed.Yeah... It started crashing again
I already had to revert to an older one. Yes, it works.Does rollbacking work as simple as flashing the AGESA 1.2.0.2 version and that's it?
1.2.0.2 was release in MAY last year so not a old bios but going below that will cause no boot with 5000 serie CPUI already had to revert to an older one. Yes, it works.
Just be careful to validate this with MSI Support, as there are BIOS versions that, because they are very old, may have problems when applied.
Yes. Unfortunately, my PC sometimes does not even turn on with XMP profile 1 or 2 enabled.Have you tried XMP profile two
Already on BIOS 7B89v2G1? 7B89v2G on this oneAlready on BIOS 7B89v2G1?
What RAM do you have? Could you please take a picture of RAM sticker like below?
Before putting RAM back, I might find a soft cloth or rubber to clean the golden finger.
