There is almost no risk in updating the BIOS (the only exception is on Z490 boards right now). You have B460, there is no danger there. I've updated the BIOS well over a hundred times on all kinds of different boards, dozens of times on MSI.

If you don't update your BIOS, you most likely won't solve this problem.

Update how-to:

1) Get the latest BIOS. It's always the topmost one when you click on "BIOS" on the MSI support page for the mainboard.
2) Extract the file onto a USB stick.
3) Enter the BIOS by pressing DEL during boot, go to "M-FLASH" in the BIOS.
4) Once M-Flash (the updater) is loaded, it will show a list of your drives. Select the USB stick and select the previously extracted file on there.
5) It will ask for confirmation and then update the BIOS. It's fully automatic from there, takes about two minutes.

Hello, excuse my English, I have exactly the same problem, the characteristics of my pc are the following:
Motherboard MSI B460M-A PRO
- 10th Gen Intel Core i5 10400F CPU.
- MSI GTX 1660 Super Ventus Video Card
- 16GB RAM 2 * 8GB HP 3000 MHZ RGB
- Nvme XPG SX8200 Pro SSD storage,

History: I was trying to install windows, activate secure boot in the bios and then it gave me a black screen, I can't enter the bios and sometimes the debug led light stays on vga, it doesn't give an image.

Could you tell me how you updated your bios, if you didn't see anything?

You can, just spam bios key imediatly after yo start yor pc, if it dont work just reset your bios removing the battery
