B550 MAG Tomahawk Bios Flash Issue

I'm not particularly new to PC building. I've been getting MSI products for ~10 years now. I have never had an issue as frustrating as this.

Problem: The BIOS will not flash.

History: I used the flash tool within the BIOS itself to update using the latest non-beta bios found here. The reason I attempted an update was I has accidentally deleted the first array when setting up RAID. Last week I got the same board and tried to flash it as well (different reason), and I had the SAME problem. I sent it back thinking it was a manufacturing error.
The BIOS update within the GUI runs and completes just fine. Following the update, the computer refuses to boot. The DEBUG LED lights CPU. The CPU is a working and functional AMD Ryzen 7 3700x.
So, the real headache begins. I have tried using the M-Flash tool what seems like a dozen times. Here are the things I have tried:
  • 4, 8, 16, 32, and 64 GB flashdrives
    • Have been formatted in MBR and GPT in combination with Fat, Fat32, and NTFS
  • CMOS reset both by jumpers and removing the battery
  • Formatting on a different computer
    • Tried with CMD, RUFUS, and Window's utility
  • ALL things except CPU/MB powersupply cables have been removed
  • Renamed the file "MSI.ROM"
    • the file I rename and copy is (following extraction) the .A10 (I think) file -- nothing else
  • The drives are always inserted when the system is powered off, the USB is in the top leftmost USB port, and the flash button is then pressed
What happens when I attempt to M-Flash? The M-Flash LED will blink endlessly-- even left it overnight. I usually wait 10-15 minutes before calling it a fail. On some trials, following pressing the button, the computer will start while flashing. Other times it remains off.

I find it exceedingly unlikely that I have gotten two boards which refuse to flash. However, this is where I'm at. I'm hoping I am making a major noob mistake. I am currently trying different BIOS versions to no avail.

Any help would be majorly appreciated.

Can you tell the full BIOS ID of the current installed BIOS version?

Have you tried using 1 memory stick only?

Hello I have the same problem. Following the update of the 7C91vA0 bios to 7C91vA4 the PC does not start anymore and I have the CPU LED on I have a ryzen 3700X on B550 TOMAHAWK motherboard original bios version 7C91vA0. I tried a reset by removing the battery, using the jumper nothing worked. I tried to reinstall the original bios with a USB 1 key, then USB2 then USB3 with the flash bios button. it blinks for hours or all night. I removed everything from the motherboard, RAM, CPU, SSD remains connected only the ATX power supply. And nothing. If you have found a solution, I am interested.
