i updated my bios yesterday to a.d0 but my beautiful msi boot logo gone. Why where is my boot logo?
You need to provide more information about your problem. Is the screen entirely black, or are you seeing text before Windows boots?i updated my bios yesterday to a.d0 but my beautiful msi boot logo gone. Why where is my boot logo?
Well, first of all we're all just Forum users like yourself who volunteer our time to help people, so there isn't anyone here who will be able to make a fix to the bios. Secondly, if you would post more usable information to begin with instead of "i updated my bios yesterday to a.d0 but my beautiful msi boot logo gone. Why where is my boot logo?" no one would have to make any assumptions as to exactly how experienced you may or may not be with computers. From another post, it appears that MSI may indeed have left the MSI Logo out of this bios version, so it most likely will be fixed in the next bios which hopefully will solve your problem.I'm not that clueless. I only have one monitor. And this monitor only has hdmi connection. My boot settings are only uefi. Csm is disabled. Full screen boot logo active. The screen is also completely black, only the windows dots are spinning and it boots very slowly as before. I kept time, it takes 30 seconds. I have a Samsung 980pro nvme ssd. It takes hours for the motherboard to be ready. Please make a fix to this bios. I regret giving this much money. I'm starting to think about going back to my old gigabyte motherboard. My computer: msi b550 tomahawk, ryzen r5 5600x, team t-force 2x8 ddr4 3200 cl16, rx 5500xt xfx graphics card. (aktually windows is not slow boot very fast but motherboard post very slow. It keeps me waiting for seconds, after pressing the first start button, the fans spin quickly, then there is a silence.) please decrease motherboard post and bring back my msi boot logo. i want to see my dragon.
I apologised. I thought there were msi officials in this forum. I would like to express my regrets that you members are dealing with these issues instead of them. Your good news made me very happy. According to my review, msi bios nomenclature, A, B, C, D, test versions, full versions go as 1,2,3, right? When do you think the full version will be out, two months from now?Well, first of all we're all just Forum users like yourself who volunteer our time to help people, so there isn't anyone here who will be able to make a fix to the bios. Unfortunately, no one here will have any information as to when MSI will release their next bios version, although from looking at the history of different bios versions, two months seems to be a good guess. With MSI bios nomenclature the A, B, etc versions (7C91vAC) are the full "finished" version, whereas the 1, 2, 3 suffix indicate beta versions (7C91vAC1) . The only thing a little bit different is that the 0 suffix, which can be seen on the main bios page, is also the finished version, even though the download page drops the 0 to end in a letter.I apologised. I don't have that board, but 7C91vAC should be OK. If not, you can always roll back to an earlier version.Hello, What bios should I put in order not to have this type of problem for the first time with AMD... and I have read that this version has problems 7C91vAD ( 1.2.0.A. )
I would need to know your CPU firstHello, What bios should I put in order not to have this type of problem for the first time with AMD... and I have read that this version has problems 7C91vAD ( 1.2.0.A. )
I took the post to be about the missing logo, but you're right it could be about general stability as well.I would need to know your CPU first
But BIOS AGESA 1.2.0.6 or 1.2.0.8 were both working well 1.2.0.5 was not very good with over 16GB of ram and 1.2.0.7 limited OC a bit
hello, well, I have the 5800x with 32 gb 3200 of ram, well then I install the 7C91vA9 or this 7C91vAC?I took the post to be about the missing logo, but you're right it could be about general stability as well.
Since you have a 5800X, you don't need to worry about the security fix in AGESA 1.2.0.8 (7C91vAC) which only affect CPUs with integrated graphics, that being said, MSI change logs don't contain a lot of information and there may be other fixes/ improvements to that bios which aren't listed. I personally have stayed on AGESA 1.2.0.6c (your bios version 7C91vA9), although on a different motherboard (X570 Gaming Plus) due to its stability. Neither of these bios should be affected by the missing MSI Logo problem.hello, well, I have the 5800x with 32 gb 3200 of ram, well then I install the 7C91vA9 or this 7C91vAC?
So, I can install any of these ( 7C91vA9, 7C91vAC9) in the official msi support they tell me that 7C91vAC should not present problemsSince you have a 5800X, you don't need to worry about the security fix in AGESA 1.2.0.8 (7C91vAC) which only affect CPUs with integrated graphics, that being said, MSI change logs don't contain a lot of information and there may be other fixes/ improvements to that bios which aren't listed. Yep if you want to it is just a cosmetic item that is missing has no effect on the actual function of the BIOSSo, I can install any of these ( 7C91vA9, 7C91vAC9) in the official msi support they tell me that 7C91vAC should not present problems
In addition to what Alan J T said, if you want to use bios version 7C91vAC, and later (for some reason) decide to use an earlier version, M-Flash allows you to rollback the bios as long as you don't choose a version before the 5800X was supported. So, I can install any of these ( 7C91vA9, 7C91vAC9) in the official msi support they tell me that 7C91vAC should not present problems
