Oh that Intel/AMD part is new to me, thanks for the heads up.

I'll try my luck and return the CPU, hopefully thats the bad part.

Anyways, thank you so so much for helping me with this, I would've returned the mobo already hadnt you helped me lol

PS: Loved that "how to set up a fan curve in the BIOS" guide, gonna try and follow that when I have my PC up and running again.

You're welcome. I mean, we still can't say for sure what it is, but i think it's narrowed down enough to warrant a CPU swap.
If it works with a new CPU, great, if not, at least you will have done the more logical thing first.

There have been issues with the Ryzen 5000 CPU's and the B550 chipset. Usually the problem is in the mobo but there have been some defective CPU's as well.

Alright, so update… I got a new CPU and everything is working fine now! Hopefully that won’t happen again (atleast if it happens I’ll know what’s the issue).
