B560i Gaming mobo, bios v e7d19ims.190 07/06/2024
The title says most of it.
This is driving me crazy and I'm wondering if there is a setting in the bios to fix the issue?
Sleep used to work properly for years (Win 10, now Win 11) when waking from keyboard.
Now, it either:
1) Immediately wakes from sleep or
2) never sleeps at all
I've run a few simple tests -
1) With keyboard or mouse set to 'allow wake' - system never sleeps, or immediately wakes when I manually put to sleep
2) Keyboard and mouse are both plugged into USB 2.x ports, nothing in USB 3.0
3) If is disallow waking from keyboard and mouse, system sleeps just fine and wakes from front panel button
4) If I allow waking from mouse or keyboard, and they are unplugged - sleep works fine
powercfg /lastwake returns:
Type: Device
Instance Path: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_43ED&SUBSYS_7D191462&REV_11\3&11583659&0&A0
Friendly Name: Intel(R) USB 3.20 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.20 (Microsoft)
Description: USB xHCI Compliant Host Controller
Manufacturer: Generic USB xHCI Host Controller
powercfg /energy returns:
USB Suspend:USB Device not Entering Selective Suspend
This device did not enter the USB Selective Suspend state. Processor power management may be prevented when this USB device is not in the Selective Suspend state. Note that this issue will not prevent the system from sleeping.
