My issue has arisen after a full year of use of my MSI B650M Gaming Plus Wifi Motherboard without any noticeable trouble after every BIOS upgrade.
This time, instead, the BIOS upgrade, made under M-Flash environment, seemed to have gone wrong. After having flashed the bios, the system restarted correctly and boot Windows 11 64 without any incident.
The issue materialized after the pc went into sleep mode and my attempt to wake it up ended with black screen and the EZ-Debug led (RAM & VGA) steady lit.
The only way to return to the last state was to revert to the earlier bios version (7E24v1D).
I opened a ticket with MSI support service and the quick answer arrived stating the need to turn off the EXPO DDR5 RAM mode.
I would like to know Members opinion about this issue and possible future solutions when further bios upgrade will be needed.
My specs:
MSI B650M Gaming Plus Wifi MoBo;
AMD Ryzen 7 8700G CPU;
ASUS GeForce RTX 3050 6GB on PCI-E4 (x8);
CORSAIR VANGEANCE DDR5 32 GB RAM at 6000 MT/s;
OS Windows 11 64bit on a Lexar NQ790 1 TB NVME.
