Thank you for your relpy. If you're battery is almost full when you plug in, don't worry this is normal by design.
When battery is <90% when you plug in AC, it will charge until full. But if you plug in when it's already above 90%+, it won't charge until it falls under 90%.
This is a hidden mechanism to prolong the battery health.
the not charging above 90% is not really a hidden mechanism to prolong the battery health its a hidden mechanism to prevent you from Causing a Overcharge event on the Battery causing it to go into Thermal Runaway where it overheats as you have now Overcharged the Battery by quite a long way and the battery then goes short Circuit and instantly dumps all the energy it has stored in a few seconds leading to a Fire. its a hidden Safety Mechanism not for the health of the battery but more of a health of the User from having the Battery Explode on them as they have pushed it over 100% Charge as lithium Batterys are hard to charge Safely and need time for the Mechanism in battery Charge Circuit to get a trend of what the battery is doing to know where the charge Limit is and 10% is a good amount of time for it to work it out but less then that then its likely it will not see where the charge limit is and push too much power into it causing Actual Physical Damage to the Battery and causing a fire.If you're battery is almost full when you plug in, don't worry this is normal by design.
