Battery not detected

My workstation stopped charging the battery a few months ago. I have searched far and wide for months and have found no information on what may be the cause.
I ordered a new battery, disassembled my laptop, and installed it today.
The computer still states, "no battery detected"

Check BIOS and EC version.
Reset EC afterward.
Contact the local MSI service point to have your laptop check if it persists.

Yes do an EC RESET and if it does detect it, do a battery calibration right away.
