After 1 years and 2 monts using this laptop i can finally say that i bought this after spending months searching for a laptop that gave me performance and has a great value, this laptop is easy to maintain laptop. After watching a few MSI and ASUS YouTube tutorials and reviews about their laptops, i decided to take my chances with the GP60 2PE LEopard instead of spending the extra $400 to get the ASUS ROG GL552VW-DH7.
The GP60 bottom panel completely exposes the components after removing only 4 screws, this makes hardware customization and maintenance very simple. I purchased the GP60 for $899 (I bought it on 2014), and the ASUS ROG GL552VW-DH7 cost $1299 (this one now cames with 960M and the GP60 comes with 950M).

One of the thing i like is really easy to upgrade the HDD to SDD and RAMS, im still dont change those, cause i usually use for Adobe Illustrator and photoshop and some other works.

I replaced the stock hard drive with a Samsung Pro SSD and upgraded the RAM to Crucial Ballistix Sport. I am currently using Windows 7 64bit, and I found all of the GP60 drivers I need on the MSI website. In general I am a casual gamer who only plays single player 90% of the time in all of my games and some of the games I enjoy are not very graphically demanding. When I tried Wolfenstein: The New Order I was able to get between 35 FPS and 45 FPS when I maxed out all of the gpu settings to Ultra 1080p. In the past I have never been able to attempt high or ultra settings with any mid-range laptop I have owned. The Acer laptop I owned (my GP60 replaced this) had struggled to keep Wolfenstein: The New Order settings above 20 FPS on Low gpu settings. I still need to test out more games but I am sure that my customized GP60 can handle almost any current game at medium and high settings while keeping the FPS above 60.

In my opinion it has a really good build quality, i was scary casuse some people start talkink about the materials of the build and screens problems but im glad that did not find any issues with it. and just for let you now is somewhat heavy and u can not play with the laptop in your legs cause it gets really hot, i just buy those coolers laptops from Thermaltake and problem solve.

In Overall, I am really satisfied, works really good and i can play and work all day long.

Im glad to go back to my prefered brand when i was a child
