Hi, i have flash my Gaming pro x470, but i can't return to the bios ... it boot directly, i can reflash with liveupdate can you help me ?

I am a user of MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON AC. After updating This Beta BIOS My system would not boot. I know It's not an serious issue because my mobo support bios flashback feature. But, I am here to mention, released beta bios should need more polish before final release. Thanks

Same here, the new "M" BIOSs (17M and 29M) released for B450 and X470 cannot be loaded or recognized by m-flash.  The May versions are okay.

The x470 gaming pro carbon bios here isnt recognized by the board...?
Im currently on the previous Beta 7B78v292

I have same problem today.  I cannot load these new "M" BIOS on my X470 carbon pro and also doesn't work on B450 carbon pro ac (using the correct new BIOS).  M-flash  just won't recognize them.

Just want to make sure my system is prepared and compatible, is all.

and for what it's worth, I also have the X470 Gaming Pro Carbon and had no issues with updating to the BIOS listed here. It's just damn ugly and not as easy to use as the previous version/s...

I extracted the BIOS to see what new goodies it contained, and found FCLK (IF speed) and UCLK (IMC speed) in it. I modded it so it will appear to me in the BIOS like you can see in the screeshots below. The only thing is that it doesn't work.  I own an R5 1400. So here's the question. Will they work only for 3rd gen CPU's, or it's just that the BIOS is in a beta state, etc? Is the FCLK/UCLK/MEMCLK hard linked in the 1st and 2nd gen CPU's and not for the 3rd gen ones?

I would love to get some answers on that, just to sate my curiosity.

I don't understand.
I thought the "AGESA COMBOPI 1.0.0.1", which is based BETA BIOS back in may was compatible with Ryzen 3000.

My B350 Gaming Pro Carbon still without support?

Are you using B450 GAMING PRO CARBON AC or Bazooka to test??   what kind of USB drive are you using? 8GB?  FAT32 format?

Without offense guys but you are a joke really. i buy msi gaming carbon pro X470. Board came with 7B78v26. i update to 7B78v28 and the bios have random freezes plus you disable pbo without even some release notes. On the next version 7B78v292(Beta version) you dont know what you talking about "new amd cpus". And now you release the magic "AMD Ryzen 3000 series CPU is now available" and you already see many users have problems specially with the gaming carbon pro board. Last time i buy msi general. i suggest you btw to check other manufacturers what is a real beta. You dont even test the bios on the boards you want to release...

I just agree with your opinion... I just don't know what reason MSI doesnt truly update bios keeping the tradicional UEFI design bios.

Previously 400 series has a bigger bios space than 300 series. I use a B450 Gaming Pro Carbon and since v10 version my mobo just have a lot of bugs in functions.

For a example: Since v10 to v171 version, if i enable LAN network in bios, save and boot to windows... in the S.O network just be disable. I tested ALL b450 gaming pro carbon bios versions and persist a lot of bugs like this.

The ironic thing is no one post something on the forums. And i wonder my self :censored:? i build last year my pc with the motherboard i mention (x470 gaming carbon pro) and i regret it. i have small problems all the time. even with windows sometimes motherboard takes forever to shutdown or restart. AND the biggest joke is now:  i plan to buy the 3000 new amd cpus plus i have raid.. SO msi tell me to change manufacturer :lol_anim:
