B450M PRO-M2 took about 50 press-and-hold resets of the power button to finally boot with 7B84v28M beta bios and a Ryzen 5 3600.  I later went into bios and set it back to UEFI instead of CSM and it bricked it.  The only way I could use the computer again was to remove the 3600 cpu and replace it with my 2400G.

BIOS will not reset, no matter what, with the Ryzen 3600 in the socket.  Ryzen 5 3600 is now sitting in the desk drawer, unusable.
Got exactly the Same Problem. BIOS 17M
Feelsbad..

Hi,
I just bought a MSI B450M Mortar to set up with a new Ryzen 3600. And I wondering if I can flash this motherboard with the beta bios of the titanium version. Thx

No. Only flash the proper BIOS for your board, not some other board that is nothing like yours.

I recommend you visit your motherboards support site. Im pretty sure the B450M Mortar has a stable bios that enables Ryzen 3000 support, not just beta.

7B84v28M not working on B450M PRO-M2 motherboard with ryzen 5 3600 cpu.  Every 12-15 attempts to start computer, it might startup once.  All other times is nothing but black screen because of no signal from GPU.  CPU light is lit on motherboard EZDEBUG.
exact same problem, except I'm with the b450 pro carbon ac with the 3700x
cpu light stays on, with only around 1 in every 10 - 15 attempts actually booting successfully.

I'd like to report that the beta bios E7A40AMS.A7M for the B450I Gaming Plus AC works just fine with the 3600X. I didn't even reinstall Windows, no issues with E7A40AMS.A7M when using a 3rd gen hexa core.

To be clear, I had several issues with E7A40AMS.A7M when using an Athlon 200GE (was my placeholder), bsod, random freezes when viewing 4k content on YouTube, sluggish performance, overtly unstable. However, since I've upgraded (today) I've not had a single issue (thus far) with a 3600X. Will report if any arise in the near future.

What do you think, can the VRMs of B350 PC Mate hold a 3600x?

I'd do it. I'm sure you wont have any issues with VRM temps should you stick with the 3600 or 3600X (provided you have bios update that enables support for Ryzen 3rd Gen)

Ok that's great. Hopefully it'll stay without issues.

BETA Bios for the MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon is out (7A32v1NP)

https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/X370-GAMING-PRO-CARBON#down-bios

using latest beta on an M7 AC board with a 3700X, Voltages are a joke, its pushing 1.5v pretty much consistently and adjusting voltages in bios, has no effect at all.
This needs sorting.

My Ryzen 7 3700x doesn't work fine with B450I GAMING PLUS AC. NVMe transfer mode drops from x4 to x2. Boot times gets twice longer comparing to Ryzen 7 1700 @ same bios and cpu gets 1.45V-1.5V @ stock. In Event Viewer there are so much WHEA PCI-Express Warnings.

Well, my R9 3900X works just fine on my X470 Gaming Pro Carbon, but the voltages are all very very high by default.

Agreed. Did you find a way to lower them? Ive seen mine push as high as 1.5v

I'm extremely concerned now
