You shall not use this BIOS, its not for your NB.. no wonder you have those issues..

I don't think this is relevant.

Another user has the GT60 0NE-403US with E16F3IMS.50T BIOS (Stock) and is facing the same issue after flashing the beta EC.

Win7 BIOS + Win7 EC -> Brightness control
Win7 BIOS + Beta  EC -> Brightness control

Win8 BIOS + Win8 EC -> Brightness control
Win8 BIOS + Beta  EC -> No Brightness control
Win8 BIOS + Win7 EC -> No Brightness control

looks like you already have issues with it, so its pointless to try it since you have troubles with original one.
