Dear all,

So using my computer happily away, and i was attempting to install a firmware update to my razer copperhead mouse, which required me to unplug the usb connection, hold a button on the mouse down.. then plug it in again. On plugging it in again the computer insta died and now wont start up again. There is no post debug displayed, its just blank, there are two cpu power phase led lights lit up, my hdd is making noise like its being accessed, vgu card appears to be running, but absolutely no image is displayed at all. I have checked the connections to everything, i have done the clear CMOS as is mentioned on the forum in other places... still absolutely nothing.

...So! Any ideas anyone? Will kiss feet for help  :-*

Ah sorry, PSU is Enermax Revolution 1250W PSU (ERV1250EGT).

Tried with each memory module individually, and then each one in different slots + done a clear CMOS after each, still nothing, no debug lights, still 2 cpu power led's and no image at all. The debug LED doesnt light up at all, no bleeps, just two cpu led lights on, phase 1 QPI led on, phase 1 IOH led on, no DDR led's on, no hdd led.

Hmmm... thinking about it, does anyone think this is a case of returning to supplier? Because mobo is obviously the cause since its not post'ing or anything.

Yup, everything is connected, and seated properly. Would i be wrong in assuming that its definately going to be a motherboard problem since its not posting and no debug LED is illuminating at all? (Just so i can be sure what item to return). And i know its a difficult question to answer, but is there a chance that if the mobo has gone, the RAM may have been affected too? (i have no other motherboards that can hold this ram to test it on..).
