BIOS 7D70v1I - MPG X670E CARBON WIFI

Does this fix the riddiculous bug that made it into 1H with video cards running at 8x instead of 16x? Im amazed at the garbage bios quality control. This is my first and most likely my last msi mobo given all the odd bios issues.

Besides that, we had already UEFI 1I2 as beta and getting now 1I0 from MSI. Looks like we have to wait again some more. I really like the board itself but the UEFI versions are absolutely horrible as if the programmers team do not communicate with each other.

I 100% agree.. the board itself is fantastic from a feature standpoint. No compromises and no odd sharing of PCI-E lanes. Its extremely well thought out.

The BIOS is such a mess. I'm not moving from 1F unless I absolutely have to.

And... 6 hours later we are blessed with another bios, this time: 7D70v1J1(Beta version)

Description:
- AGESA ComboPI 1.2.0.0 updated.- Improved Nvidia graphics card compatibility.- Optimize system boot time.

I'm definitely going to wait a while before updating.. I've gone back to 1F and will stay there for a while.

Please can you explain what the benefits are to 1F? I don't seem to have any issues with the new beta, happy to hear what others are saying though.

Sorry i just dont like using beta bioses. 1F was the last stable one that i knew of. After the debacle with 1H i am gunshy to upgrade again

Beta, Final these are all just names at MSI!
There are several finals on the website that were worse in terms of bugs than their predecessors. Then there were unofficial betas of mods published here that fixed the worst bugs. However, the fix was not included in the later finals.

Several finals have also been quietly and secretly withdrawn.
For example the
7D69v14
search it here:
not listed on side , but the is still working from this Bullshit
MSI is not even able to get rid of killer biosis forever!
Agesa 1.0.04 the mass of the final have disappeared from the website but still loadable with direct link.

We had the same thing with 1.1.0.1! The finals were "deleted" and betas were added later, despite bug fixing there were no new finals ;-)

The finals also disappeared from the Mortar boards within an Agesa

MSI has no real quality control. Bioses are rolled out on deadline X. Since Asus/Gigabyte/Asrock are usually faster with new Agesas, they just [***CENSORED***] out retort bioses on the assembly line and grind error after error with every new version.
With a final I freeze the status of the Agesa and then make sure that absolutely everything works. From the simple 0815 settings to exotic OC to things as simple as recognizing M2 SSD ;-)
None of this is implemented. The [***CENSORED***] we get here is still the same as when it was released almost 2 years ago!
Allegedly AMD is to blame for everything, blah, blah, blah, then MSI should use the time and clean up its bios.
I can extract all syntax texts from the bios with one click, run them through an AI spell checker once and then have them translated into any language better than MSI does, I can optimize the layout with about 20 clicks so that you can see menus completely without having to scroll. You can set better default values than OC, the mass is undefined with MSI.

I think I am moving to Asrock! I always wondered what other options are out there - ASUS being my least favorite, followed by Gigabyte.
