BIOS Boot mode select

Hi all.

Recently bought an MS-16R6 thin laptop and I'm trying to enable legacy mode as it's stuck on UEFI but the boot mode select option in the bios is greyed out and I can't seem to enable it no matter what I do.
A bit of googling showed there are similar issues with older bioses but they had a OS configuration option whereas this BIOS doesn't.
Have flashed the newest bios as of a month ago with no luck.

Any ideas appreciated.

I think Intel block the BIOS legacy mode on the model with 11th gen processor.

CSM or LEGACY you need ?
try disable secure boot + reboot bios

for modern HW or win11 - is possible this all is locked !
or missing Orom for legacy -- not exist reason for different mode

Thanks, tried this previously but had no luck.
It's 11gen proc with win11.
I was hoping to install Qubes OS but looks like it's not going to be a go on this laptop anyway or i'll use another distro.

is it true for all series of MSI laptops? on my MSI Prestige 15 A11SCX with i7-1185G7 I also have Boot mode greyed out

I don't know, you can confirm the info with MSI.
