My i4-14700F is not supported with the latest bios or really any bios that includes a new microcode update, atleast thats the case with my MSI Pro B760-VC WiFi (MS-7D98), are there any workarounds or do i just wait?

Hmm, you're using an i7 on that low-end of a board? Even if it's not a -K CPU, that is the first surprise here, the board and CPU are not matching that well. This board has a cheap VRM section without any heatsinks.

But what do you mean, not supported by the BIOS? Of course it's supported by the BIOS (BTW, this doesn't say anything about how well the board and CPU models are matching, for example a 14900KS is also supported, but you should never in a million years put it into such a low-end board model).

I assume you saw this:

That's a common misconception: The versions on the CPU compatibility list are not really the BIOS versions you are supposed to use for that CPU, they just denote the first BIOS version that had (or added) support for the CPU. Any newer versions will also support the CPU, so normally you just update to the newest version.

Oh makes much more sense thanks, and its a prebuilt so ig their way of cutting costs. I've heard of after market VRM heatsinks and idk would that make a huge difference? (i really dont know much about PCs)

I just bought a pre-built with this board, Pro B760-VC WIFI Bulk. Is this your actual board or do you have the one without Bulk in its name? If you have the bulk one like me, I was able to upgrade the BIOS using the MFlash routine.

Nothing wrong with the board if you're not panning on heavy overclocking. It just plain works well. I'm also running the Pro B-760-VC Wifi II with i7-14700F and BIOS 7D98vBE1
