Hey guys, im pretty new to this forum so excuse me if i get anything wrong.
about 2 days ago i got home from work and my pc had randomly had a bios password installed i had left my pc on by accident but i dont live with anyone so i dont know how it got there, i checked my cameras and nobody broke in or anything. Ive tried everything, jumping the jbat 1 pins ,taking the battery out for a day and putting it back in, and its still not going away. Are there any other ways i can fix this or am i just gonna have to get a new board?
i have a b550 gaming gen 3 board for context

Try clear CMOS by shorting the JBAT jumper for 5-10 seconds(with PSU powered off and power cord unplugged) to check whether the BIOS password could be removed.
