Hi!
Im trying to access the bios on my P55-CD53 mainboard but it asks me for a password. However I have not set any password. Is there a default PW or? Cant find anything in the manual.

/T

Well somebody must have set a password, it doesn't do it by itself ;), and the BIOS is not factory programmed with a password set.

No there isn't. And unfortunately we can't help you with this, as we do not discuss password 'hacking' here.

Well... Ill better take a good chat with the place where I bought it. Seems they sent me a used mainboard!!!  :angryfire:

Sometime it does, but in very rare cases with root case slightly unstable system caused by memory.
[Can reproduce it at my machine 100 of 100 times,[in a OC attempt]  BIOS self apply unknown password from nowhere,
due error in calculation and writes wrong values due unstable memory]

:lol_anim: OK then, under normal circumstances, the BIOS password doesn't set itself. :emot-tip-wink:
