I have just updated my MSI Tomahawk X870E with this latest BIOS 7E59v2AA3 all looked perfectly fine but on reboot I had 2 white screens no normal flash screens I can't even get in to the BIOS settings when my GPU is installed, I have done a CMOS reset and still it won't work. The only way of getting in to the BIOS is to remove my GPU and use the onboard graphics which boots up perfectly normal.

My system 9950X3D - 64GB ram - 970 GTX

This only started straight after the latest BIOS flash.

Here is a small video of what is happening, do apologise for the quality using an old phone.

... 970 GTX...
In my opinion, it's because of the old video card, which most likely doesn't have the latest security patches or drivers, and the BIOS is angry because the latest versions embed secure codes and the motherboard may be taking it too risky. But AA3 is also beta. This is my guess of course. But since it starts without it, the problem is definitely incompatibility between the 970 GTX and the new beta version of the BIOS.What code is displayed on mobo?

There is no code displayed on the mobo it does eventually boot in to windows, wish they would state what is beta I might just go back to 7E59v2A91 if the GPU is the problem.

Don't think that's a BIOS issue.
but older GPU issue like @competitionnn mentioned,
that's not compatible with latest security standard in recent BIOS versions.

The way to fix it is to:
* Upgrade the GPU if you want to use recent BIOSes
* Try disable Virtualizations in BIOS Setup if you want to use recent BIOSes while keep the old GPU.
* Flash back and stick to older BIOS version if you want to use such older GPU

Odd - I updated my BIOS to this same version with no problems. I wonder if you tried using the reset bios button before rolling back?

My system;
870e Tomahawk Wifi
9950X3D
64 g Ram
Samsung 9100 Nvme
Samsung 980 Pro Nvme
Samsung 970Evo Plus Nvme
Crucial MX500 Sata SSD

I don't game so no need for me to upgrade the GPU for now I might try step 2 Svet advised.

I tried resetting the CMOS it didn't work so went back to an older version for now.

Yes and more power saving too.
Plus the onboard GPU is a much newer generation and have better codes/video support,
include AV1 decoding and other newer formats compared to the older GPU.
