Bios upgrade planned (non max motherboard)?

I would like to know if there is more information about a potential bios upgrade.
I know that the MSI 450 Tomahawk MAX have a planned bios update for the 5800x3d processor.
I can't find any information for the NON Max version (B450 Tomahawk), my current motherboard.

I really want to purchase this CPU however, if i can still update my motherboard I will wait.
Does anyone have some more information about this?

The say 1205 (latest Ryzen CPU support * ): If you look for the * it's says all Ryzen CPU's including the 5800x3d. I guess an mistake, because the end of april there launching a beta bios ?!?

Probalby i have to wait for a while

I suppose it's still part of the "Vermeer" family and system will boot no matter using 1205 or 1206c, but for "Optimized" performance you wanna stick to 1206 or later version.
end of April, early May in my opinion. Considering it's not likely that non-max board will get the most urgent support.

does anyone have some inside if a upgrade to 1206c or 1207 will be released shortly for the b450 tomahawk? We are 2 weeks into May but so far i couldn't find any press notes after their first statement that a bios upgrade will be released in the end op April for this motherboard. I'm really thinking about already ordering a 5800x3d because my local supplier is almost out of them. But if no bios is expected in 3 weeks there is no point for me to ordering one.

no one knows the schedule, only thing that is confirmed is MSI is releasing 1.2.0.7 BIOS for 300s now.

Beta bios should work properly with tomahawk B450 non-max ? 1.2.0.7 BIOS may be beta? or should i get a b550m MAG Bazooka? what do you think? (for a Ryxen 5 5600)

Yes Beta will be Fine to use and the non max boards may only get a BETA release even though about same as non MAX Bios well except for it being BIOS Light and missing a bunch of stuff.
