BIOS WONT UPDATE

MY bios E1T41IMS.10E wont update through the MSI APP. i have tried countless times but to no avail.
I bought this Claw 4 days ago brand new!
Im not overly impressed so far.

Well I downloaded the BIOS from the website and installed it manually but please do not do that now I'm experiencing somewhere in between 30-50% drop in performance and currently in search of a way to roll back to the previous version

I have an A1M with ultra 7 155h so I can't speak for the other versions of claw but if you have the same one as mine i won't recommend going forward with the update

May I know how is the actual performance you are talking about? Is the benchmark score, gaming fps, or else? Which game is it and how is the performance before and after updating BIOS 10E?
 
MSI sent this to me

the latest version, and we will provide you with the following detailed steps for your reference:
＊Note 1: Keep the AC power connected during the whole update process.
＊Note 2: Save all unfinished works before proceeding the BIOS udpate.
＊Note 3: Custom setup of any advanced settings such as undervolting/overclocking must be restored to default before starting the BIOS update.
①You can download the BIOS from the following link:
https://download.msi.com/bos_exe/nb/E1T41IMS.10E.zip
After downloading, please save and open the BIOS file, click “Extract all”.
② Click “Extract” to confirm.
③Select “FLASHWIN”, and right click by long press on the file
④Click on “Run as administrator”
⑤Click on “Yes” when User Account Control windows pop up to allow changes.
⑥Wait until the system reboots automatically and complete BIOS update.
*If the system auto restart is stopped or canceled, the update will continue in the next system restart.
 
How to manually update BIOS (via USB)
Search for your Claw model name on the MSI official website and download the latest version of BIOS.
Unzip it and copy the BIOS file to a USB memory stick formatted as FAT32.
Exit Claw, connect the USB, power it on, and repeatedly press the Del key to enter BIOS.
Select M-FLASH or UEFI BIOS Update from the BIOS menu.
Select the BIOS file from the USB and proceed with the update.
Do not turn off the power or remove the USB during the update.
Failure to do so may result in booting failure.
