Parts:
AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 4.5 GHz 8-Core Processor
Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE LCD XT 65.57 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard
Corsair Vengeance 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-5600 CL40 Memory
Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
Asus TUF GAMING OC GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER 16 GB Video Card
EVGA SuperNOVA 850 P6 850 W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
bios ver E7D75AMS.1m1
I used to have 2x16 GB Corsair Vengeance RAM. I needed an upgrade, so I switched to the Corsair Vengeance 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-5600 CL40 memory, but with the new sticks PC wasnt loading and had red error lights on Ram and yellow on CPU. I switched back to the 2x16 GB sticks, and it worked just fine. After updating my BIOS (which I had never done since building the PC), the system started working with the 2x32 GB sticks. However, after the BIOS screen, I get a black screen and nothing happens, with no error codes. After a few attempts to turn the PC off and on again, I occasionally get a "Windows failed to load" error, or it will boot into Windows without issue. What I dont understand is why does it work "sometimes" and load correctly?
Here are the fixes I have tried:
CMOS reset
BIOS default settings
moved to the newest BIOS version E7D75AMS.1m1
and a ton of videos having me trying to repair via the troubleshoot windows after I get a blue screen.
bought 4x16 corsair vengeance and still same issue with black screen (so I made sure it wasnt a ram issue with the 2x32
