Bluetooth radio stops working every few months

The Bluetooth radio on my desktop (P50 Creator) stops working every few months. When this happens, Windows reports that there is something wrong with the hardware, and all of my Bluetooth devices disconnect. The only solution is to turn off the computer for 15 minutes and unplug it from the wall. Sometimes, even this doesn't work, and I have to reboot the computer over and over until the radio works again. Is this a known issue? Is there a fix for this?

I contacted MSI tech support about this and they said it's probably a hardware issue.
