Got a C236M, had it for a few years but recently swapped it into my FreeNAS machine (the old Supermicro MBD-A1SRi-2758F-O board failed due to the C2000 clock issue). Everything seems to work fine but my 3 Noctua 120mm NF-F12 2000RPM fans in my fan wall, I cant control them for some reason.

The fan wall has 2 connectors on it, a Molex connector to power all 3 fans and a 4 pin header for the PWM control. The Supermicro board had no problem controlling the fans from the BIOS but the MSI board wont for some reason, I've got them set at 45% but they still run at 100%, I've tried both fan headers on the board and still nothing. The 2 back 80mm Noctua fans using a Noctua splitter can be controlled from the BIOS. I've checked all the connectors, everything's plugged in correctly, running the latest BIOS (7972vDA).

Any ideas why the board refuses to control them?

Thanks.
