Can I install Coreliquid 280R with just 1 fan at top position?

Hello all.
Upon assembling my new PC, I found out there is not enough space to install my 2nd CPU cooler fan near the back side of case. I have no problem installing radiator and just one fan. In this situation, can I install just single fan to support my CPU cooling? my PC spec is:
CPU = intel i7 13700 (locked)
Motherboard = MSI Tomahawk DDR5
CPU Cooler = MSI MAG Coreliquid 280R
case = MSI Sekira 100R

Please assist since I cannot get MSI live support previously.

regards,
Robin

can you share a pic of the system build?
seems like Sekira can take up to 280mm on top, what's blocking you to install the second fan?

hi, attached are the photo. it is tricky as I thought it fits without problem but there is radiator at the top of fan so I cannot install the rear fan since the MSI Tomahawk motherboard does not give enough room (blue circled in photo). I was told by store guy that my cooler should be no problem but it does not seem correct and now I cannot swap it with 2 x 120 fans due to opened box :( Do you have any better solution? Thanks for your response.

Don't think you can fit the 280 in the front as an intake? Don't put the fans or the rad external to the chassis.
How does it perform under load in the roof with one fan?

Options(if the above doesn't work).
1. Fit the fans external to the case on the top(pull config) Yes this will look like dog ....... It's also not very safe.
2. Change the cooler.
3. Change the case.

My preferred option.
You've likely spent a fair bit on this build, blow another £100 on a 240 rad and put the 280 for sale.

so far I monitor my CPU temp using AIDA64 and it went between 39-60 degree C when running 6 VMs. I read from Intel forum says my CPU can handle up to 100 degree Celcius so this setup seems good to me. Attached in my AIDA screenshot. Unless I missed something, I do not see any problem with just 1 fan, furthermore I am using integrated GPU from Intel CPU (locked). Any issue you can spot on otherwise?

I'm not sure how taxing AIDA64 is, I don't see CPU load in the graph. Cinebench is a common tester for CPUs.
To see the difference an extra fan can make you could hold the radiator out of the case and try Cinebench with one fan and then with two.

Or just try your setup with the most CPU intense program you use.
