Can the mpg x570 mother board use eGPU's through the thunderbolt port?

i'm curious if the msi mpg x570 gaming edge wifi motherboard can use one of those egpu enclosures through the thunderbolt port, i know they work with laptop thunderbolt ports but if they could work with a desktop too then that would be great. obviously you can just put a gpu in the pci-e slot but this is in the name of science (lol)

I do not think the X570 gaming edge has Thunderbolt on it best bet for Thunderbolt is to go Intel

I would assume that UNLESS it specifically says "Thunderbolt" on the specs, it doesn't. Even if it has USB-C, that doesn't mean it has thunderbolt.
