I just built a new PC using this mobo, and was attempting to switch over my storage from a previous device, which has a linux distro on it. Kept receiving the security blue screen. Went into BIOS and attempted multiple (somewhere around 30, maybe more) times to disable Secure Boot, even switching to CSM, selecting Custom and deleting the keys, disabling TPM, and nothing would stick. After every save, whether it was save and reboot or just save changes, everything would be re-enabled. Currently have 7E59v2AB0 BIOS, although the "release date" matches the previous version. Have not attempted to reset CMOS as of yet. Is there something that I need to do in BIOS to be able to disable Secure Boot, or is the latest version buggy and preventing it from disabling?

you shouldn't need to do anything, and normally with hardware compatible mode (default) instead of maximum security, the linux OS should just work okay.
Can you unplug the OS drive and do that again and see if secure boot can be disabled?

I have seen some MSI boards automatically re enable Secure Boot when an OS drive is connected and detected as UEFI capable. Clearing CMOS and testing with the drive unplugged first is probably worth trying before assuming the BIOS is broken.
