i have a GE76 Raider 11uh-053.

I just got mushkin 32GB DDR4L 3200MHZ RAM and installed it

I went into the advanced BIOS menu

Overclocking Performance Menu > ?

where is the memory profile for XMP, its not in the BIOS, there are no Memory RAM menus in the BIOS, please help...

Right CTRL + Right Shift + Left Alt and F2 in bios.
Overclocking menu.
System agent Configuration
Memory configuration.
You can set your timings there or gear ratio or xmp profiles.
Watch this video to about 21:37 it shows where it is.

I have HyperX Impact DDR4 32gb on xmp1 gear 1 ratio. Works great.

I have mushkin 32GB "3200Mhz CL16"... i have done everything this video said to do. XMP1 gear 1... and i enable/disabled dynamic timings and enable/disable auto overclock on the RAM/ it ALWAYS just reverts back to default settings. I hit f10 and reset but it ALWAYS just goes to default settings, it even says XMP1 is the default setting... i dont know what to do, i just ordered the hyperX 2933 RAM kit to see if that would work... any other advice????

Try loosen the timings a bit and test it. I have mine on gear 1 at 20 22 22 42 0 1T I can't hit cas lower than 20 with gear 1 enabled. In gear 2 yes I can hit cas 16.

i just tried gear 2 and it still wont boot with XMP enabled. I dont think i can run my ram at 1.35v and that would be the main issue. I just ordered kingston FURY ram with 2933mhz /CL 17 /1.2v. and hopefully that will solve the problem.

do you know if i can set the voltage to 1.35? I have a Ge76 RAIDER 11UH-053

If you have cl16 ram you need 1.35v. I have crucial ballistix 3200mhz cl16 with 1.35v. Mu manual settngs - cl16, 16, 16, 32, 480 on 1.35v. Mushkin have 1.35v on stock like crucial.
If you want use xmp first enable overclocking menu in cpu tab. Just enable it. Then in memory use xmp 1.

can you please tell me how in detailed step by step? i keep trying but when i save and reset from BIOS it wont boot, the Bios wont even flash, so i have to hold the power button down untill it factory resets the BIOS and I restart in default settings. I tried enabling overclocking feature, I turn on XMP and then the system will not boot. please help...

You have latest bios?

I have the latest BIOS update from Nov 2021, and I go through these steps and MEMORY doesn't even appear as a feature when enabling the overclock menu. I just installed the Crucial Ballistix 32gb CL16 3200 RAM... whats going on??

Did you manage to set up xmp?

I have not upgraded my RAM yet (have to be sure my GP66 11UH supports XMP first) and I am at the same exact window as above but it lacks the "Realtime Memory Overclock [Disabled]" option. When I go into "Memory Profile" there's only the options of Default Profile and Custom Profile but no mention of any XMP Profile as shown.
Does that mean my Laptop does not support XMP??
Thanks for any advice you can give.

what ram you have?

Stock ram don't have XMP profile. Check in CPU-Z.
My crucial ballistix:

Thanks for your help. I installed CPU-Z and I believe the "SPD Ext" is supposed to say "XMP 2.0" or something if the installed RAM supports it. But It's empty so I'm guessing that the stock RAM doesn't?

Just to clarify,do ALL 11th Gen GP66 (or similar MSI models) support XMP? Or does it depend totally on the model?

All 11th GP/GE support XMP profiles. Profile depends only from ram what you have
Thank you for the confirmation.

I'm relieved because I'm only like 97% certain and the fact that MSI Assist basically told me "ALL MSI Laptops do not support XMP" even though the forums literally prove otherwise.

Your earlier advice to others helped me a lot.

My new RAM has just landed in my country so I hope to get it installed before the weekend.

Okay I've installed the new RAM and made some changes to the BIOs, including enable XMP 2.0 (see below), saved and reset to Windows. There's no issues but is still running it at CL22, instead of CL16. How to I set it so it's running at the promised CL16?

Enable OC menu in CPU section. Just enable it.

And set Gear mode to 1 in memory menu
