Hi guys

I have a brand new PC that boots straight into Windows 11 Home. I want to install Windows 11 Pro.

I cannot for love or money get the system to boot from the USB key (yes, the key has been tested) nor can I access the BIOS (Del, Esc, F1, F2, F10 don't work).
I can't see the motherboard model without removing the GPU and there are no identifying features on the packaging.
So tempted to return the unit not to mention that support in Australia is 9-5, Monday to Friday.
Not happy. 🤬
Cheers
Charlton

  1. Under Windows 11 it's easier to go through Recovery and Advanced start-up. Took me a while too.

  2. https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/...system-setup-from-windows-on-your-dell-system

  3. Click Start and then select Settings.
  4. Click Update & Security.
    Windows Settings
  5. On the left side, click Recovery.
  6. Under Advanced start-up, click Restart Now.
    Windows 10 Recovery
  7. Click Troubleshoot.
    Windows 10 Troubleshoot
  8. Click Advanced options.
    Windows 10 Advance Startup
  9. Select UEFI Firmware Settings.
    Windows 10 EFI Settings
  10. Click Restart to restart the computer and enter UEFI. (BIOS)
