I bought this laptop a few months ago and certain keys(Q, E, R) are working intermittently. I have to press another key with it to wake them up(etc er, wq). I did some digging on the internet and it seems other MSI laptops have this issue as well, but with different keys. Some people have tried opening up the laptop and adjusted the keyboard ribbon cable and apparently that has worked. Is there an easier way to fix this? If there isn't is there any step by step guide to fix it by putting electrical tape into the ribbon cable?
Thread I found: https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?threads/msi-gl62m-7rd-keyboard-problems.295141/
Thanks.

Enter BIOS menu, and go to security, user password.
Try to type the keys q,e,r and check if it reacts.
If not, send back the laptop to the service center directly.

Sounds not good~
If your laptop is still under warranty, you should contact the service center.
