Hi, just got a new 31.5inch monitor and it set at 60hz refresh rate. Could someone tell me roughly how to change it to 144hz. Any help appreciated.

What Monitor exactly do you have?

What Device are you connecting it to?

What Way are you connecting the two?

You can try to lower the resolution first, and check if the refresh rate could be adjusted.
Adjust the resolution in Settings-Display, and adjust the refresh rate in Advanced display.

OK what Acer Laptop is it as to get 144Hz output from it the Laptop needs HDMI 2.1 to Drive that 4K 144Hz Panel so what model is your Laptop as it may be limiting what it can do?
