Can Somebody let me know where to buy Antec Power supplies in India? I have a 400W Zebronics right now, and specs are as below. Is this sufficient???

3.3 (28A) 5v(40A) 12V(17A)

If not please let me know what are my options and if I buy online would they ship it to India?

Thanks

Roger

All looks good, but the +12v could use a little more zest...if your system is happy though...

UK websites would probably be more likely to ship to India....pm Jocko or one of the higher ups here at the forum, and they will be more than glad to give you some links!

that is enough for your current setup.
but if you plan to upgrade to the latest ati or something like that then i would recommend a better psu.

truth behind my name is I came onto the board asking a few questions about my new board about a year ago, got hooked, now I like to think I help people out with a fair bit of answering.

I did a lot of solving problems on MS newsgroups before I came to the board, believe me there are some real LMAOs out there "I can't find the ANY key do you know where it is?"

Bingo! Give the man a cigar. I know this response is a little late, but haven't checked this particular forum in quite a while.

I built the machine listed below by marrrying new parts with old. The process of joining pieces from various parts just reminded me of Mary Shelly's Frankenstein -- and thus I dubbed it Frankenputer. In fact, when I first booted the system and it posted, I shouted, "It's Alive!"--quoting from the movie Frankenstein's Monster with Boris Karlof.

By the way, MaximumPC rocks!

Switched over to ANTEC TRUE POWER 430W recently, works great and noiseless.

3.3V(28A) 5V(36A) 12V(20A)

Yea, that was a good swap. You were in software Rajiv, then moved on to hardware tech now? Or was the other way around, I forget. Anyhoo, great background, sure beats my 'operator' job for learning the workings of gear.

RuhRoh . . . you mean the part I meant to be funny? Or the serious part about a retail background in s/w & h/w that would be better than my 25 year op job?

Well Now I've forgotten what I was trying to say, The Browser crashed. But on this point My user name came from the fact that I liked to go fast(Cars, Motorcycles, PCs), But now I can't and I' getting used to driving at the speed most trucks do on the freeway or near 60Mph, Mario's or not(And on the Freeway most drive like They think that They are too), That explains the zoom part, The 314 part is a 1000cc motorcycle motor that has been bored out to 1256cc or so and then divided by 4 to get 314. But I do try to help from time to time, But then I've built my share of PCs, Over a dozen to be exact, Most were not for Me though.

In any case I've just bought a 460w psu to use with My Master2-far motherboard and Yeah It's an Enermax, It's the same brand as the 470w that I sold, I also had to sell some ram too, But in General, I trust Enermax for Heavy usage and Antec for medium to light usage, Even though I do have a JPAC 500w psu powering a DFI NF2 Ultra Infinity A+, a 40Gb hdd(7200rpm), an mx4000 agp vga card w/128Mb ram, and a Mouse and Keyboard too(It crunches 24/7 for seti and no I'm not moving to another team, I crunch for Athlonmb.com and I like the Pond that I'm in too).

Zoom1 Specs: XP-M 2500+ cpu (2.50Ghz @ 1.95vcore)[DFI NF2 Ultra Infinity A+]
Zoom2 Specs: XP-M 2600+ cpu (2.41Ghz @ 1.75vcore)[DFI NF2 LanParty Ultra B]
Zoom3 Specs: 2-Opteron 244 1.8Ghz cpus(Oc to 2.1Ghz ea?)[MSI K8T Master2-FAR](soon)
