Claw will no longer power on

Claw is on latest bios. It was running fine without issue. Battery was 97% and plugged into official charger. I shut down the claw to allow standard windows kb updates to install. About 4 hours later I came back and the device would not power on at all. No charging lights and no response at all. I unplugged from power and held the power button for 60 seconds and got nothing. I plugged power back in and pressed the power button and got a quick rumble response, but that was it. It didn't do that again after trying. Tried a surface thunderbolt 4 dock and got nothing out of it either so I know it's not the charger. Is there anything else I can try before I need to attempt an RMA?
 
Honestly, your best bet is probably just to contact MSI directly at this point.
Outside of taking the thing apart, which I don't recommend, there's not much else you can do.

Did you connect to the external monitor to check?
After booting up, does it behave the same as in the video, showing the MSI logo and then shutting down?

Did you make any changes during this process? For example, an EC reset?
BTW, could you share which Windows KB you installed before having the problem?

Similar to my case.
Had battery 60%, then suddenly it was just shut down by itself, heard the fan sound increased and then it turned off. Couldnt turn it on again. Pressed hold 25 sec the power On button, but nothing.
Did you get replacement?

Can you turn on with the power adapter?
If so, ensure the latest BIOS is installed.
After that, check the wear level of the battery to know the health status.

If the wear level is high, contact the local service center to replace a new battery.

mine got screen flickering first. I tried to fix it through update but didn't work. yesterday got worse when after flickering suddenly restart and enter into bios loop until it stops working. I just bought this new ( less than 1 week) and I encountered already lots of problem. the seller told me to go for warranty repair center but it cost me more money to go there.

It seems you have two issues:
  1. 1. Screen Flickering - I suspect this could be a display or graphics driver issue. Do you see the same problem in the BIOS? If so, you’ll need to arrange for hardware repair. If not, I recommend performing a clean installation of the Intel Graphics driver from the MSI website for cross-verification.
  2. 2. BIOS Loop - It’s unclear if there’s an issue with SSD detection. You can check the BIOS under Storage Information to see if the SSD is recognized.
Since this is a new product, you shouldn’t have to spend so much time fixing them. I suggest contacting your dealer to discuss the possibility of getting a replacement.

I got the exact same problem here in Indonesia
and the last night,someone here in Indonesia got same exact problem

So here's my detail.
I already updated the drivers,BIOS and everything to the latest in 27 September. but in 28 September in the morning my Claw Suddenly acted strange behaviour when I connected my claw to the Claw's charger
the battery was around 80% when the problem appeared. I was downloaded EAFC from steam and the download progress around 60%. and the screed was lit when I plugged the charger.|
and when I pluugged in,the screen suddenly turned off. and the fans area blowing hard. and the claw vibrated as like it boot looping. and it's totaly dead for next couples minutes.
the power indicator was off too., tried to push the power button but no luck. tried to connect the claw's charger into my phone,no power was came to my phone. and the power adaptor has electrocute too.

someone in my country got the same problem and I can assume it's wasn't software problem. but more like hardware fault / defect. and the hardware issue is in the charger for my opinion.
I didnt changed anything EC,BIOS,etc. just updated everything into latest. and so with other Claw user in my country. if the software was the issue,our Claw will get the same massive issue globally.
it's more like power charger issue. I won't say all Claw's power charger got issue. but some and for us who unlucky got the this problem has bought the defect one.

and I has claimed the warranty and asking for RMA and asking to replace my Claw Unit.

Barusan aja ngalamin, setelah cabut charger langsung mati. Aku tekan tombol power kipasnya menyala kencang terus mati dengan kondisi layar mati. Apa pny kamu sdh ada solusi?

Sama problem saya beberapa bulan yang lalu. Baru beli nggak ada seminggu, symptom nya sama, cabut charget, mati, kipas nyala kencang setelah itu langsung shutdown off. Nggak bisa di nyalain. Ke toko elektronik langsung, klaim, dan hari itu juga saya dapat ganti unit baru. (saya tinggal di jepang.)
