I had been using MSI Command Center to occasionally adjust CPU voltage, since the ability to do this in BIOS (latest version on a Z170A MPower board) somehow became disabled after upgrading to a 7700k.

I'd been trying to figure out why my system drive was reporting over 400TB written in its lifetime.  Actually, I noticed today that the number had jumped to over 4000TB!  It's possible that I located the culprit: according to Task Manager, two processes related to Command Center were writing to the C: drive at a combined rate of roughly 500MB/s.

I finally figured out how to adjust the voltage in BIOS. Double-clicking doesn't do anything--all that's required is to highlight the value with one click, then modify with the + or - key.

Regarding the disk-write issue, I wonder if my system might be infected with a trojan. Various scanners turn up nothing, but my router detects suspicious packets originating from my PC.

Have you updated Command Center to the latest version v. 2.0.0.56?
Could you post screenshot of task manager shows which exe consumes the most resource of Disk?
