Hi everyone...

My RTX 4070 has a single 8 Pin slot and as you know MPG A850G comes with 12VHWDP to 2x8 Pin cable.

Can I use only one 8 pin connector of this cable to connect my PSU to 4070?

Thank you.

For your GPU with an 8-pin PCIe header, it's of no advantage to use this cable. The A850G also comes with six 6/8-Pin PCIe power cables, so just use one of those.

What i don't get is, it only shows one 12VHPWR cable in the specs, which i would assume is basically the same 16-pin connector on both sides.
Have they maybe replaced two of the 6/8-Pin PCIe cables with one "16-Pin 12VHPWR to 2x 6/8-Pin PCIe" cable?

Yes, I think so. These cables come with the PSU;

Yeah, the second from the left is one 16-pin to 16-pin 12VHPWR cable, this is what you'd use on a 40-series with a 12VHPWR header. For your 4070 with the 8-pin header, just use a normal 8-pin PCIe power cable.
