Hello friends.

I have a brand new laptop but whenever I open any game with NVidia, game crashes after couple of minutes. I made a clean install windows 10. All drivers are from MSI's website. I tried to install drivers with MSI Driver Utility too. Didn't solve my problem. I updated my NVidia driver but the problem persists. Any suggestions?

Best Regards.

No, I didn't update my BIOS. GPU Temp is around 65. I never goes up high because games crashes so quick. CPUs temp is around 75-85 when I check them in MSI Afterburner.
I also noticed these freeze cause crash and these crash shows in the event viewer as nvlddmkm error. Error says:

"The description for Event ID 0 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
\Device\Video12
Error occurred on GPUID: 100
The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table"

Anything will help. Thanks.

This is the same issue why my laptop froze. I got it fixed. Use this and your good to go.

1. Open CMD as administrator
2. Write: DIR "%WINDIR%\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\*NvGSTPlugin*" /S
3. You see something like this, the bolded one you should see you number
%WINDIR%\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\nv[INFNAMEHERE].inf_amd64_[UNIQUEVALUEHERE]\Display.NvContainer\plugins\Session\_NvGSTPlugin.dll

1. Write: sc stop NVDisplay.ContainerLocalSystem
2. Write: DEL /Q "%WINDIR%\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\nv[INFNAMEHERE].inf_amd64_[UNIQUEVALUEHERE]\Display.NvContainer\plugins\Session\_NvGSTPlugin.dll"
3. Write: Restart NVDisplay.Container service

That didn't change anything unfortunately. I even checked your post and the reddit post you get the commands but none helped. I think I will send this laptop to the service. What could be the cause of this problem on hardware?

Which games do you play when you encounter the issue?
You have to share the error information if you have the error notificaiton.

Did you remove the telemetry file(s) ???

Also open cmd and write SFC /scannow

Hello.

I send my PC to the service and they said there is no problem on hardware and even tested some games without a problem. Laptop came back to me but issue still occures.

I removed the telemetry files. Tried SFC /scannow. Still same.

Anything will help. Thanks

Edit: I also tried with the games below:
- The Room 2
- The Room 3
- Ghost Excile
- CSGO and CSGO2 recently.

So I had the same problem I found out that you need to have the game mode on from the Msi Center else after a while the game would crash at least that was the problem for me

I dont even have msi center installed on my machine and have zero issues with it. I really doubt that the msi app will fix this duo a mode. But of course i might be wrong here.

According to information on the internet, it seems that quite a few people are experiencing issues due to the updates KB5030310 or KB5030219, or the Nvidia Graphics driver (version 537.42). If you have installed any of these software updates, it is recommended to uninstall them for cross-validation.

The first thing i noticed is that you must be with ac power to play games, then i installed msi center wich allow me to set different modes, the mode for playing is high performance , you add the cooler boost (fans to 6000 rpm) to that and overheating shouldnt be a problem, its sad that they said its fine when its not, anyway mine runs smooth put completely freezes in game from time to time and i gotta switch off , also check the fps cap in games you're playing because if its 150+ it will overheat
