After 24 hours of idle and locked time, this is a solid fix for the issues.
Use the uninstall tool.
Reboot computer.
Install MSI Center 1.0.26.0
Turn off auto-updates in MSI center settings.

The zip with the 2 programs is too large to upload here. Let me know if you want it and I can send it to you someway.

Alternatively, you can contact MSI through chat and request the uninstaller and older MSI Center version.

I'm going to wait till a new update comes out before upgrading again.

From what i can tell the issue is with the MSI.TerminalServer.exe service. Once my CPU temps stop updating, killing that service and restarting MSI center gets it moving again. I also see the following in the MSI center logs:

Lots of out of memory errors. Perhaps the SDK service has a memory leak?

After the windows update pack today it force updated the app tp 1.0.31.0 even though I had the program updates off. Hopefully, the major windows update fixed the issue. I still have the old files available if it comes to that.

In my ticket with MSI they confirmed they will be releasing a new version of MSI center to address the issue. So that mostly confirms it's a software issue and it's being addressed.

Ever since the WIndows update yesterday and the AMD chipset driver update 1.0.31.0 is working great.

Scratch that this morning I unlocked my computer and the MSI Center is locked up. However, it appears after a min of being unlocked the AIO started reading the temp and responding again. MSI is still locked up though. Ill continue to monitor and see if I need to roll back again.

At this point i've just resigned to checking periodically if the temp reading on my mobo (z590 carbon wifi) and cooler match, and rebooting if they dont. It's awful but until they release the newer version of MSI center with the fix, it's all I can do.

On a side note, the brand new Corsair iCUE H150i Elite LCD looks like everything I wanted the Coreliquid MPG series to be. The display is SIGNIFICANTLY more customizable, and even lets you upload GIFs which i thought the coreliquid could do.

NZXT has had one on the Kraken Z series for a while now. See : https://nzxt.com/collection/kraken-z

I am having the same issues with MSI Center, Latest Download Available. My Custom Fan curves stop working. I do not let my PC go to sleep, it stays awake the entire time it is on. I put in a ticket over a week ago and have no response from MSI on the issue. I checked services and it shows the the MSI Center Service is running but, when I go to open the application from the System Tray (Win 10 Home 64Bit) it closes. I literally have to stop the service and then open MSI Center screen readout and fan curves to start working again. @GWraith did the older version of MSI Center help?

If this doesn't get resolved I will be taking this cooler out and returning it to MicroCenter and buying the competition's equivalent

I may have solved the issue with my K360 and MSI Center. Like I said, every few hours the fan curves would stop working and the screen would just show values from last communication. I would literally have to stop the MSI Center Service, then launch MSI Center again to get the K360 back online. I thought that this could be related to HID/USB Power management. So, I disabled power shutdown on all the USB Host controllers and right now is the most I have heard the fans ramping up and down while I work. Usually I use my work PC while my gaming PCs sit and idle through the day and I game and edit at night. Right now I am responding from a different PC and keeping an eye on the K360

I officially got rid of this issue by stopping the USB Port from shutting down to conserve power and also disabled the Power Management on the USB Ports in Device Manager. I waited 3 Hours, came back to the PC (this is the amount of time it would take for the MSI Center Service and Application to Stop functioning) and all is well. If you all are still having issues just try this simple method of disabling power management on USB. I don't let my PC's Sleep so, this may not work for those that let your rigs hibernate/sleep.

Okay, this will be my last comment. Version 1.0.31.0 and the K360 or K240 need to have the power management settings adjusted. Otherwise, the application and service stop working for some reason that must be due to not communicating properly after USB Power Savings enables. I haven't had any issues since disabling power management through Power Plan Advanced Settings and Device Manager. This cooler is extremely well done! It is safe to say that any mission critical device connected via USB for communication and control should have the Power Management settings disabled to stop the port from turning off/hibernating on idle. I hope this helps others with the same issue

*** UPDATE: This keeps MSI Center from crashing but still causes the hardware monitor to freeze its readings. ***

This does seem to be an issues since the cooler links to the usb port on the motherboard. In windows, go into your power settings, then select advanced power settings. Find USB settings at turn "USB selective suspend settings" to disabled.

See if this helps.

This actually works for a longer period of time but, after 48 hours of testing I have observed a Memory Leak on the MSI.Central Server (32Bit) through task Manager. The Application/Service was all the way up to 1.7GB before I force stopped all services and restarted the application along with the services. @MSI User This needs to be fixed, I am around my PC enough to keep restarting the Application and Services but, this shouldn't be happening.

Unfortunate as I thought the issue was resolved, I caught the memory leak out of luck. I walked into my office late tonight and my CPU temps were near 46C on idle and my fan curve was ramping up. Of course, the 1st thing I did was open Task Manager to see what was utilizing the CPU and Memory to cause this and sure enough, MSI.Central Server (32Bit) was at the top of the list, what was even more alarming is that it had been climbing on memory usage 1.7GB is unacceptable but, this isn't the first application and services I've seen do this. The last offender was MoBros Modbro OSD and they seemed to fix the leak on their end so I am really hoping @MSI User can get this resolved in the next update or provide a version that clears the memory utilization every few hours or so.
