Happy new year

My Coreliquid P13 was working fine until I had an update via MSI Centre I think for the LED firmware. Since then, my AIO screen has been stuck on the booting logo and keeps repeating.

I have tried everything, uninstalled MSI centre using the cleaner tool and deleted all of the folders, re installed MSI centre.

I have done a fresh reset/format of Windows 11, reset the bios, removed CMOS battery in the correct fashion, used the P13 firmware update tool, tried an older version of MSI centre, change the USB 2.0 header to another slot

Can anyone please help? I see there is another thread but I can't work out a fix, as stated it was working completely fine before?!

Did you update the motherboard LED firmware or the P13 firmware?
I saw you mentioned P13 firmware update tool, did it update the firmware successfully or it failed to run?

Hello,

I updated the Motherboard LED firmware and after rebooting I then encountered this issue I've posted.

When I was troubleshooting, I noticed on the product page that they uploaded the firmware update tool just before the new year (when I got this, the was just a manual on the support page) so I thought I'd give the firmware update a shot, it flashes successfully but the boot loop issue still remains.

I bought this "seller refurbished" but when I received it everything was brand new, still had factory seal stickers on screen and copper plate. MSI don't want to help as warranty expired apparently, they referred me back to who sold me this but they are ignoring me also.

Got a feeling I'm going to be stuck with this 😶

Exact same issue, after updating the firmeware because getting an issue in games in fullscreen, I am getting an infinite boot loop, please any help??
Sorry to hear you're having the same issue as me, MSi haven't been very helpful in a ticket I posted to them. I made it very clear I have tried EVERYTHING to diagnose the issue. I could be wrong but it seems there definitely is some sort of bug somewhere along the lines, my cooler was working absolutely fine until some sort of update through MSI centre.

As for the issue with full screen games, I believe it's a common issue with this cooler. Some games will be okay, some won't (for instance Borderlands 4 for me in full screen was unplayable, it would just go to the desktop view, I'd go back into the game and it would switch to the desktop after 5 seconds) I'm not 100% sure what the work around is, for me I just put the game(s) in windowed/full screen borderless and would have no issues.

Now I know I'm not the only one with this issue in regards to the boot loop assures me there is definitely a bug, I hope we can get a resolution to this rather than be asked by MSI "Have you tried this? Have you tried that?"

I'm in the process of sending mine back off to the seller as I found out I have 12 months warranty with them, I just recently switched to a Corsair iCUE Link H150i with LCD screen - it's far superior in customisation and makes me ask myself why did I ever bother with this P13, it's very lacklustre in customisation and I've had nothing but issues with it.
