Correct method for swapping Graphics cards

Can someone help me develop the best procedure for dealing with Nvidia drivers and MSI Afterburner when swapping graphics cards. For example, if I want to swap out an EVGA RTX3060 12GB for an ASUS TUF RTX3080 12GB, do I need to be concerned about uninstalling Nvidia drivers, etc. or will things automatically reconfigure being that it is the same generation of GPU?

should just set itself back up on the New GPU just Fine. you only really need to remove the Driver is your going From Nvidia to AMD or Vise Versa!
