CPU temperature too high

Hi!

I've built my PC 9 months ago with the following crucial components: 3700x, MSI Coreliquid 240R, MSI B550 Tomahawk and Gainward Phantom RTX 3070.

For 9 months everything was fine but now CPU is overheating (90 degrees in idle state --> GPU is at 40, Fortnite throws blue screen of death). I noticed that one of the Coreliquid's fans is blowing cold and the other one is warm. Is that OK?

How to detect what could be a problem?

Any help would be appreciated.

Best regards, Roman

AIOs usually work by splitting the fins in half going along with the fan (width/2), so that the water is circulating in the radiator. You most likely just need to service your PC - replace thermal paste, clean everything and it should run just fine.

I'm learning that 240R cool may not be a great pairing with my Gungir case. The thermals are just not great for the CPU. If I cannot get the pump noise to fix I'm going to mount my cooler to the front fan assembly.

Do you have your 240R mounted at the top of the case?
