CPU upgrade for Msi GE60 2OE-223XES

Hello everyone

This is my first time posting.
I would like to know if it's possible to upgrade the CPU to an I7 4700MQ?
It has the I5 4200M & GTX 765M at the moment.
BIOS version starts with 7.XX. 
Is the I7 4700MQ version of this laptop using the 5.XX BIOS? If so.. is it possible to change the bios if the 7.XX version will not support the I7 CPU?

I would not recommend update Broadwell CPU for your GE60 2OE. The design is quite different between different CPU generations.
 
Sorry. I read it wrong.


I think you don?t have to change any BIOS if system stays with Haswell CPU.
 
Upgrading from I5 4200M to I7 4700MQ works! No bios update needed. 
The laptop now run alot more smoother but abit HOT :) 
Im glad with this upgrade.
Im sad tho.. because of no windows 10 drivers for my laptop :(
